Led over 10 scientific research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, PetroChina, Sinopec, and others. Conducted groundbreaking research on micro- and nano-scale pores in shale reservoirs. Developed innovative testing methods using field emission-scanning electron microscopy and methane-saturated nuclear magnetic resonance tests. Investigated Longmaxi shale cores from different burial depths in Zhaotong, Weiyuan, and Luzhou areas. Established an NMR method for saturated methane to test free gas content and predict shale reservoirs at different burial depths. Revealed the impact of burial depth and pore structure on shale gas content. Predicted total gas content in deep shale reservoirs, enhancing confidence in exploration and development possibilities.
