This study explores the thermodynamic and dynamical properties of zinc selenide (ZnSe) nanostructures using classical molecular dynamics (MD) simulations with temperature as a variable parameter. By simulating a range of ...temperatures, we investigate the structural stability, thermal expansion, diffusion behavior, and energy fluctuations of ZnSe at the nanoscale. Key thermodynamic quantities such as specific heat capacity, potential energy, and mean square displacement (MSD) are computed to understand the impact of thermal variations on the system's performance. Dynamical analyses, including vibrational density of states (VDOS) and atomic trajectories, provide further insight into the temperature-dependent motion and stability of the nanostructure. These findings are significant for the application of ZnSe in optoelectronic devices, especially those operating under varied thermal environments. The results offer a deeper understanding of the material's behavior at the atomic level, providing guidance for future design and thermal management in nanoelectronic applications.
