Dr. Yih-Yuan Chen earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from National Chung Hsing University in Taichung, Taiwan, completing his studies from July 2005 to February 2011. His doctoral research laid a strong foundation for his expertise in molecular microbiology, biochemistry, and medical technology, contributing significantly to his subsequent academic and professional accomplishments.

Dr. Yih-Yuan Chen has accumulated extensive professional experience throughout his career. Since August 2019, he has served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemical Science and Technology at National ChiaYi University in Chiayi City, Taiwan. Prior to this, he was a Project Faculty Assistant Professor in the same department from August 2016 to July 2019. From December 2014 to July 2016, Dr. Chen worked as an Associate Research Fellow in the Department of Internal Medicine at Ditmanson Medical Foundation Chiayi Christian Hospital. Before that, he was a Senior R&D Researcher at GeneReach Biotech Corp. in Taichung City from August 2014 to November 2014. His postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases and Vaccinology at the National Health Research Institutes in Miaoli City, from June 2011 to August 2014, further honed his research skills and expertise in the field.

Dr. Yih-Yuan Chen is recognized for his professional certifications, having been certified as a Medical Technologist in Taiwan since 1998. Additionally, he attained certification as an Assistant Professor in Taiwan in 2016, further validating his expertise and qualifications in the field of biochemical science and technology.
