Wilian Paul Arévalo Cordero is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Jaén, Spain, where he has been conducting advanced research on renewable energies, energy control, and sustainable public transport since May 2022. In addition to his postdoctoral role, he has been a Research Scientist at the same university since November 2017, focusing on scientific research and project development in electrical engineering. Prior to his academic roles, Wilian served as a Supervisor of Operations at Corporación Eléctrica del Ecuador (CELEC SUR) from February 2018, managing operations at a hydroelectric plant and ensuring efficient energy production. He also held the position of Senior Electrical Works Supervisor at CELEC from November 2015 to October 2016, where he supervised electrical works and project implementation. His early career included working as a Junior Engineer in Instrumentation and Control at SNC Lavalin International in Quebec, Canada, from May to October 2015, where he contributed to instrumentation and control systems for various projects.
