Dr. Linxu Xu earned his PhD in Engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, where he studied from September 2015 to October 2019. Prior to that, he completed his Master’s degree in Engineering at the same institution, attending from September 2013 to July 2015. He began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Materials Chemistry from the Harbin University of Science and Technology, which he completed between September 2009 and July 2013.

👨‍🏫 Work Experience:

Since November 2020, Dr. Linxu Xu has been serving as a lecturer at the Institute of Resource and Environment Innovation, Shandong Jianzhu University. In this role, he has been actively involved in teaching and research, focusing on advanced environmental functional materials.

🧪Research Projects:

Dr. Linxu Xu has been involved in several significant research projects. He led the “Autocatalytic Synthesis of Metal Particles/Silica Nanocomposites for Efficient Removal of Organic Dyes in Wastewater” project, which was funded by the Excellent Doctoral Research Fund of Shandong Jianzhu University . Additionally, he contributed to the “Research and Development of Key Technologies and High-end Equipment for Water Environment Health in the Yellow River Basin (Shandong)” as part of the Shandong Top Talents Project . Dr. Xu also worked on the “Pipeline Fouling Deposition/Cleaning Model and Resource Utilization Technology,” supported by the National Key Research and Development Program .Furthermore, he was involved in the “Development of Key Technology for Fenton-like Treatment of Difficult-to-Degrade Organic Matter in Water,” a corporate-commissioned project .

Cinzia Bragato was born on October 12, 1980, and has built a distinguished career in the field of biological sciences, particularly in neuroscience and cellular biology. She completed her degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Trieste in 2005 with a thesis focusing on the role of the SMN protein in Spinal Muscular Atrophy, under the supervision of Prof. Enrico Tongiorgi and Dr. Giorgio Battaglia. Her academic journey continued with a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Milano-Bicocca, which she obtained in 2021. Her doctoral research, carried out at the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Neurologico Carlo Besta, involved generating and characterizing a zebrafish model of Pompe disease to test the efficacy of a new therapeutic molecule.

Throughout her career, Cinzia has gained extensive experience working with animal models, particularly zebrafish, which she has been using since 2012. Her expertise includes cloning techniques, immunochemistry, biochemistry, microinjection, and the use of various laboratory equipment such as microtomes, ultramicrotomes, and cryostats. She has a solid foundation in molecular and cellular biology, and her work in the Muscle Cell Biology Laboratory at the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Neurologico Carlo Besta has significantly contributed to both the diagnostic workflow and ongoing research programs, particularly in neuromuscular diseases and metabolic myopathies like Type II Glycogenosis.
