In his M.Tech thesis, Olaolu (Samuel) Awobifa conducted a meticulous assessment of pesticide residues present in the water and sediments of the Ala River. This research endeavor aimed to provide critical insights into the contamination levels of the river, essential for safeguarding both human populations reliant on the water for domestic purposes and the aquatic ecosystem inhabiting its waters.For his B.Tech thesis, Olaolu delved into the proximate composition and physico-chemical analysis of Scleria racemosa seeds. Through this study, he meticulously analyzed the nutrient composition, mineral content, and various physico-chemical properties of the seeds.
