Prior to this role, he was the Director of the Department of Energy and Environmental Processes at ISSTE from 2020 to 2023. He also served as an Associate Professor in Electrical Engineering at the same institution from 2017 to 2022 and as an Assistant Professor from 2011 to 2017. Before joining ISSTE, Dr. Taghouti worked as a Contractual Assistant in Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Sciences of Gafsa, Tunisia, from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, he was the Director of the Department of Physics, Chemistry, and Processes at ISSTE from 2014 to 2017.
