Her doctoral thesis focused on “Downstream approaches for pure biofine chemicals and aroma substances from Cannabis sativa essential oil,” showcasing her expertise in the field. Prior to her Ph.D., she completed an M. Phil in Chemistry with a focus on Analytical Chemistry, investigating the “Determination of antioxidant and antimicrobial potential of Zizyphys jujube leaves.” She also earned a Master of Science degree in Chemistry, specializing in Physical Chemistry, during which she explored the “Effect of Gamma radiation on the dyeing of cotton fabric by using Eucalyptus camaldulensis Bark powder.” Dr. Naz’s academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science degree from Punjab University, Pakistan, where she majored in Chemistry, Botany, and Geography. Dr. Saima Naz’s professional journey encompasses a diverse range of roles in academia and education. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Education Lahore, Faisalabad Campus, Pakistan, a position she has held since 2019. Prior to this, she contributed to the academic community as a Lecturer/Visiting faculty member at the UAF-sub campus Burewala from 2018 to 2019. Her dedication to education led her to serve as an Assistant Professor at Bahauddin Zakaryia University, Multan, Pakistan, from 2017 to 2019. Earlier in her career, Dr. Naz also undertook the role of a Science Teacher/Principal at Government M C Girls Primary School in Faisalabad from 2012 to 2013.
