Adel Aschi, born on May 17, 1966, in Tunis, Tunisia, is a distinguished physicist specializing in soft matter physics. Since April 19, 2019, he has served as the Director of the Soft Matter Physics Laboratory (Lab code: LR99ES16) and the Coordinator of the Master of Soft Matter Physics program. He has been a Full Professor at the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis (FST) since July 27, 2015, where he teaches a range of advanced courses, including Physics of Soft Matter, Specific Analysis Techniques for Soft Matter, Mathematical Methods in Physics, Classical Electrodynamics, and Mechanical Properties of Partially Ordered Fluids. Prior to this role, from March 5, 2011, to July 27, 2015, Aschi was a Lecturer at the Tunis Preparatory Engineering Institute (IPEI Tunis), where he taught integrated physics courses for the first Preparatory Engineering cycle. His earlier experience includes serving as an Associate Professor at the Bizerte Preparatory Engineering Institute (IPEI Bizerte) from September 19, 2002, to March 5, 2011, where he taught integrated physics courses for various preparatory cycles. He began his academic career as a Contractual Assistant at the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis (FST) from September 18, 1999, to September 19, 2002, conducting tutorials and practical work in various physics sections.
