Fariborz also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering (Industrial Metallurgy) from Islamic Azad University, Iran, where his thesis on the effect of milling graphite annealing on its specific surface was awarded full marks.

Fariborz Sharifian Jazi currently serves as a Professor and Head of Nanotechnology Research at The University of Georgia, where he leads cutting-edge research initiatives, supervises students, and contributes to international research collaborations.
