Education:

Dr. Priyanka Singh earned her Ph.D. in Nanoscience from Kyung Hee University, South Korea, in 2016, where she designed nanoparticles and drug conjugates/nanoformulations to enhance the pharmacokinetics of poorly water-soluble drugs for cancer and infectious cells. She holds a Diploma in Transformational Leadership Programme-Leading Women from CBS, Denmark, completed in November 2020. Dr. Singh has acquired several certifications from the University of Wisconsinā€“Madison, USA, including physiological characterization, solubilization, and solid form screening for drugs (2022), biologics (2021), drug development processes and CMC aspects (2021), and preclinical and phase 1 oral drug formulations (2021). Additionally, she completed a Teaching Lab course at DTU in January 2022, focused on university-level teaching and learning. Her academic background also includes a Masterā€™s in Microbiology from CSJMU, India (2008-2010), and a Bachelorā€™s in Microbiology from Kachchh University, India (2005-2008).

Work Experience:

Dr. Priyanka Singh is a Senior Researcher at the Center for Biosustainability, Technical University of Denmark, since December 2023. She leads studies on developing nanomaterials for anticancer and antimicrobial drugs, publishing in high-impact journals, and supervises Ph.D. students in hands-on development of these materials. She is also leading a project on ā€œgraphene-based solutions for marine biofilm inhibitionā€ and employs advanced techniques like Flow cytometry, SEM, TEM, and Incucyte for characterizing nanomaterials in various disease models. From January 2021 to November 2023, as a Researcher at the same center, she led a team advancing nanomaterials in medical applications, focusing on biologics formation and characterization, investigating their impact on cancer cells, and enhancing their therapeutic potential.
