His doctoral thesis focused on the “Sol-gel synthesis and characterization of perovskite-type (Ba0.5Sr0.5)(Fe,Ce,Zr)O3-δ oxygen permeable membranes.” Prior to his Ph.D., he earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics from PPN College, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, India, from 2008 to 2010. He also completed another Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Condensed Matter Physics at VSSD College, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University in 2011. Dr. Chauhan obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from DBS College, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, where he studied from 2005 to 2008.

🏢Work Experience:

Dr. Santosh Chauhan served as a Junior and Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Science and Technology – Science and Engineering Research Board (DST-SERB) in India from August 2017 to February 2020. His research interests encompass the synthesis and characterization of perovskite-type (ABO3) oxides and related materials. He focuses on their applications in various advanced technologies, including inorganic membranes, solid oxide fuel cells, solar cells, gas sensors, and supercapacitors.
