Assist. Prof. Dr. Saeid Darvishi is a distinguished materials scientist and chemical engineer whose research integrates polymer science, nanotechnology, and computational modeling to develop advanced functional materials. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in Automatic Control and Systems Engineering at the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom, contributing to the development of soft and resilient machines. Dr. Darvishi earned his Ph.D. in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Koç University, Istanbul, where his dissertation focused on the effect of polymer architecture on the structure and dynamics of polymer nanocomposites. His core research areas include polymer nanocomposites, polymer electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries, soft materials, molecular dynamics simulations, and drug delivery systems, supported by deep expertise in both experimental and computational techniques. His notable publications include Entangled Polymer Dynamics in Attractive Nanocomposite Melts, Nonlinear Architectures Can Alter the Dynamics of Polymer–Nanoparticle Composites, Decoding Polymer Architecture Effect on Ion Clustering, Chain Dynamics, and Ionic Conductivity in Polymer Electrolytes, Effect of Polymer Topology on Microstructure and Ionic Conductivity in PEO/PMMA-Based Solid Polymer Electrolytes, and Enhanced Ionic Conductivity and Mechanical Strength in Nanocomposite Electrolytes with Nonlinear Polymer Architectures.
