Assoc. Prof. Renata Świsłocka commenced her academic journey by obtaining a Master’s degree from the University of Bialystok, Faculty of Biology and Chemistry, in 1990. Continuing her pursuit of knowledge, she earned a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Maria Curie‐Sklodowska University, Faculty of Chemistry, in 1997. Displaying a commitment to scholarly excellence, she furthered her academic credentials by achieving a Habilitation in Chemistry from the same institution in 2014. These educational milestones laid a solid foundation for her distinguished career in academia and research, propelling her to become a respected authority in her field

From 1990 to 1998, Assoc. Prof. Renata Świsłocka served as an Assistant at Bialystok University of Technology within the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering. She continued her academic career at the same institution, transitioning to the role of Assistant Professor from 1998 to 2016. During the period of 2006 to 2016, she also held the position of Assistant Professor at the State Higher School of Computer Science and Business Administration in Lomza, specifically in the Institute of Food Technology. Since 2016, she has been a Professor at Bialystok University of Technology, contributing her expertise to the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences.
