Dr. Qasim Ali is a Pakistani Assistant Professor in Applied Mathematics at the University of Chakwal. Born on August 25, 1987, he holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, where he completed his thesis on the analysis of free convection flow with damping for different fluids. Dr. Ali also holds an M.Phil. in Applied Mathematics from Minhaj University and an MSc in Mathematics from the University of Punjab, where he graduated with top honors. He has extensive teaching experience, having served as a visiting lecturer at several institutions, including the Institute of Arts & Science Gujranwala and the University of Sargodha. His research focuses on nanomaterials for energy, thermal engineering, and the enhancement of heat transfer using nanofluids, with particular interest in modern fractional derivatives and analytical solutions. Dr. Qasim Ali earned his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan, in 2021, where his thesis focused on the “Analysis of Free Convection Flow with Damping for Different Fluids.” He completed his M.Phil. in Applied Mathematics at Minhaj University, Lahore, in 2014, with a thesis titled “Qualitative Analysis of Epidemic Model of Measles.” Dr. Ali also holds an MSc in Mathematics from the University of Punjab, Lahore, graduating in 2009 with First Class Honors and ranking in the top ten of his class.

Dr. Qasim Ali is currently serving as an Assistant Professor (IPFP Fellow through HEC) at the University of Chakwal, Pakistan, a position he has held since 2024. Prior to this, he was a Visiting Lecturer at the Institute of Arts & Science, Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan, from 2021 to 2023, and at the University of Sargodha, Gujranwala Campus, Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan, from October 2013 to October 2018.
