Prof. Dr. Ling Zhang holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, where she conducted her research at the State Key Laboratory of Electroanalytical Chemistry from 2008 to 2013. As part of her doctoral training, she also completed a co-joint Ph.D. program in Molecular Electrochemistry at the University of Paris Diderot, France, from 2012 to 2013. Prior to her doctoral studies, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the College of Chemistry at Jilin University, China, in 2008. She is also deeply engaged in studying electron-transfer kinetics in enzymes, developing nanozymes for therapeutic and sensing applications, and designing bioelectrochemical systems such as enzymatic biofuel cells. Additionally, her expertise includes in-situ scanning tunneling microscopy to investigate the structural and electronic properties of biomolecules and nanomaterials.
