Dr. Ana Fernández Blanco is an accomplished biotechnologist and research scientist with over seven years of experience specializing in pathogen detection, microbial biotechnology, and product development. She holds a PhD in Biotechnology, Food and Environmental Microbiology from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, a Master’s in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Zaragoza, and a Biology degree with a specialization in Microbiology from the University of Valencia. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher at LUMENSIA SENSORS, Dr. Blanco leads R&D projects in biotechnological detection systems, including the development and validation of innovative pathogen detection methods using biosensors and microfluidic systems. Her research has contributed significantly to the field, with notable publications on photonic biosensors and molecular biology techniques. Dr. Blanco is proficient in English and Spanish and has extensive training in R&D management and ISO, GMP, and FDA compliance standards.
