He then pursued a post-doctoral fellowship at Cornell University, School of Chemical Engineering, Ithaca, New York, USA, from August 1996 to August 1998.

Dr. Juyoung Kim began his academic career as an Assistant Professor at Samcheok National University in the Department of Advanced Materials Engineering, South Korea, from August 1998 to August 2004. He then served as an Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Industrial & Engineering Chemistry from March 2002 to March 2006. In August 2004, Dr. Kim joined Kangwon National University as an Associate Professor in the Department of Advanced Materials Engineering and was promoted to Professor in August 2009. During his tenure at Kangwon National University, he also held a visiting professor position at Cornell University’s School of Chemical Engineering from August 2008 to August 2009. Dr. Kim has been a Professor at Kangwon National University since August 2009.

🏆Awards:

Dr. Juyoung Kim has received several notable awards throughout his career. He was honored with the Outstanding Paper Award at the Spring Conference of the Korean Society of Industrial & Engineering Chemistry in May 1999. In November 2006, he received the Best Poster Presentation Award at the GJ-NST 2006 International Conference. Dr. Kim was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award by Samcheok National University in March 2004 and by Kangwon National University in March 2006. Additionally, he earned the Best Poster Presentation Award at the Spring Conference of the Korean Society of Industrial & Engineering Chemistry in May 2008. He was again recognized with the Outstanding Achievement Award by Kangwon National University in March 2010 and March 2015.
